Is the Chrysler Pacifica Good for Dogs Too?
Is the Chrysler Pacifica Good for Dogs Too? The Chrysler Pacifica has consistently impressed those in the automotive industry for its family-friendly qualities, beautiful interior, striking exterior, fuel efficiency and affordability. It revolutionized the minivan category when it was released a few years ago and has gone on to be one of the most awarded cars. In fact, the Pacifica Hybrid is the only hybrid minivan currently offered in the United States, which has led to it wining numerous green car awards. This van is known specifically for being good for the family, but what about the family pet? Is this vehicle pet-friendly? According to Autotrader, its one of the top ten most pet-friendly vehicles!
But what did the Autotrader experts have to say? “The ultimate family-hauling green machine also happens to be the ultimate dog-friendly transport. With the Pacifica Hybrid, owners will enjoy excellent fuel economy, an impressive array of safety and technology features and enough room for the kids, the dogs and their combined stuff. With a starting price just over $41,000, the Pacifica Hybrid isn’t the least expensive option on the road, but it’s the only minivan that can travel up to 33 miles solely on electric power. The hybrid model does give up the standard Pacifica’s cool underfloor storage space to make room for its batteries, but the trade-off nets you a hefty $7,500 federal tax credit. That’s more than enough money to invest in a nice roof-mounted cargo carrier or dog-friendly accessory like the Pacifica-specific portable soft-sided dog kennel. The Pacifica’s low cargo floor also helps if you have small dogs.”
